Privacy notice
What data we process when you write to us or use geometria.lat, why, with whom we share it, and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
Ideas Complejas S.A.S. de C.V., which operates Geometría, is responsible for the personal data we process through geometria.lat and the email contacto@geometria.lat.
What data we collect
The site has no forms. It does not ask for a name or email to show its content.
If you write to us or book a call by email, we receive your name, your email, your company or job title, and what you tell us about your case.
If you share data of your producers or their plots, such as names, coordinates or documents, we process it only to review your case.
The self-assessment does not send your answers to any server. They are stored in your device's browser, and you can delete them with the reset button.
The server hosting the site may log technical data for each visit, such as IP address, browser type and date. We do not cross-reference it with other databases.
The site does not ask for sensitive data. If you share it by email, we treat it with the same care and for the same purpose.
Why we use it
To answer your email, review your case and, if you hire the service, provide it. We do not use your data for advertising or newsletters.
You can limit how we use your data by asking contacto@geometria.lat; for example, that we do not use it for purposes other than your case.
We do not currently process data for purposes that require your additional consent. If that changes, we will ask you first.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers that host the site and run our email, on our behalf and for those purposes. We do not sell or transfer your data. If a law or an authority requires it, we will share only what is requested.
How to exercise your rights
You may request access, rectification, cancellation or objection regarding your data (ARCO rights, articles 21 to 26 of the LFPDPPP). Exercising them is free (article 34).
Write to contacto@geometria.lat with: your name and a way to reply; an identity document, or your representative's; a clear description of the data and of the right you want to exercise (article 28).
We reply within twenty days of receiving your request. We may extend this once for the same period, if the circumstances of the case justify it (article 31).
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we publish the new version on this page with its update date. If the change affects how we use your data, we will email anyone who has written to us.
Legal basis
This notice is governed by the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on 20 March 2025. The Spanish version prevails.
