Producers and cooperatives

Who it's for

Your buyer will ask for the location of your plots. It is best to hand that data over once, done well, and not to each buyer separately. We tell you which data to provide and how to arrive prepared before the date that applies to you.

What data they will ask you for

  • Coordinates or polygon of each plot.

The point where it is and, if you have it, its outline.

  • The link between each plot and the lot you deliver.

Without that link, the data is of no use to the buyer.

  • Documents proving that production complies with Mexican law.

By commodity

  • Coffee and cocoa: the plot of each lot.
  • Cattle: the location of the farm of origin, not only the slaughterhouse.
  • Oil palm: the location of the plantation where the oil originates.
  • Soya: the location of the field of origin.
  • Wood: the polygon of each plot larger than 4 hectares, and the harvest date.

How to come prepared

  1. Get your roster together.

How many producers and how many plots there are, even if it is incomplete.

  2. Note who holds each piece of data.

You, your cooperative or your buyer.

  3. Take the self-assessment.

For a cooperative or organization: 25 to 35 minutes. For an individual producer: 15 to 20 minutes. You get a traffic light, what to do in each area and the date that applies to you.

  4. Book a call.

We review what is missing and in what order.

What we don't do for now

Measure where you stand today

An online questionnaire about your operation in relation to the EUDR. It tells you how prepared you are in each area and what to do next.
